Privacy Notice

What data we store

We store your account information (name, email from your OAuth provider), household configuration (members, birth years), financial account balances, income streams, scenario events, and snapshots. All monetary values are stored as integers in cents.

Why we store it

Your data is used solely to generate your financial projections. We run a year-by-year deterministic projection on your behalf to display your wealth trajectory. We do not provide financial advice, recommendations, scores, or ratings.

Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed. Audit logs (which contain no financial details) may be retained for security purposes.

Third parties

We do not sell your data. We rely on these service providers to run the app:

• Google, for sign-in
• Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database), which store and serve your data
• Sentry, for error monitoring, and PostHog, for product analytics

Error reports and analytics events are linked to an internal account ID, not your name or email. We do not send financial figures to them on purpose, and we scrub known financial fields and dollar amounts from error reports, but we cannot guarantee that an error message never contains a financial value.

Encryption

All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS (HSTS enforced).
